What this covers
This describes the data your Brenoz account holds, why it exists, and how it is handled. It applies to the Brenoz website and to the Brenoz bot on Telegram, which share one account.
What we store
Account details. Your email address, a display name, and — if you link one — your Telegram account identifier. Passwords are never stored in a readable form.
Wallet and payments.Your balance and a ledger entry for every top-up and purchase, plus each top-up's amount, method, status, and the transaction reference you submitted. References are masked when displayed back to you.
Orders and delivery. What you ordered, when, what it cost, its status, and the delivered content so you can download it again. Delivered content is stripped of supplier identity before it is stored.
Support. Any support conversation you start, so it can be answered and referred back to.
Operational records. Technical logs and an audit trail of account-affecting actions, used to investigate problems, fraud, and abuse.
Why we hold it
To run your account: verifying top-ups, keeping your balance correct, fulfilling and re-delivering orders, answering support, and detecting fraud or abuse. Financial and order records are also kept because they are the record of what you paid and received.
Sessions and cookies
Signing in sets one cookie that identifies your session. It is marked so that scripts in your browser cannot read it, and it contains no readable personal information. There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies on this site.
Who it is shared with
Your account data is not sold and is not shared for advertising. Payment references you submit are checked against the relevant payment network or receiving account in order to verify them. Suppliers of the products in the catalogue do not receive your account details, and their identity is not exposed to you either.
Data may be disclosed where we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to investigate fraud or abuse of the service.
Retention
Account, wallet, payment, and order records are kept for as long as your account exists, because they are the history of your balance and purchases. Support conversations and operational logs are kept while they remain useful for answering questions and investigating problems.
Your choices
You can update your display name and change your password from your account page, and unlink a linked Telegram account. You can ask what data your account holds, ask for it to be corrected, or ask about deletion by contacting support — note that records tied to completed payments and orders may need to be retained.
Contact
For any question about your data, start a message from your support page while signed in to the account concerned. If that account is linked to Telegram, you can also contact support through the Brenoz bot from it.
